Roots & Rhythm Night Market

Roots & Rhythm Night Market is a curated cultural marketplace designed to enhance community life through inclusive programming, global experiences, and family-centered gathering. Set within the heart of FivePoint® Valencia, the market transforms shared outdoor space into a destination for cuisine, creativity, connection and fun!
Roots & Rhythm Night Market was founded through a collaboration between Wisteria Events and Rites of Passage for Women, bringing together a shared passion for culture, connection, and community wellness. With deep experience in event coordination, youth enrichment, and intentional placemaking, our team is committed to creating spaces where families and cultures can gather, celebrate, and thrive.

Meet the market team

The Team brings extensive experience in event production, community engagement, nonprofit leadership, and cultural programming, with the added advantage of having participated as vendors in hundreds of markets and festivals. This dual perspective allows for a deeper understanding of both operational and participant needs, resulting in more efficient planning, stronger vendor relationships, and better guest experiences.

Our Story

Every meaningful community tradition starts with a simple moment.

Ours began at local events, where we met not as organizers, but as vendors — two women with food businesses, big dreams, and a love for culture. Simone of SiSi Cakes and Quesha of The Royal Womb quickly connected through the realities of market life: the long nights, the learning curves, the beautiful interactions, and the moments that revealed what was missing.
As we spent more time in the Santa Clarita Valley community, we heard the same thing again and again: people wanted more global flavors, more cultural celebration, and more family-centered events. Roots & Rhythm Night Market was created to meet that desire for an experience designed to bring neighbors together through food, music, wellness, and joy.
